Sectional Sofas 

Sectional sofas are very popular for casual living rooms or dens; however, they can also fit well into more formal rooms depending on the style. Sectionals are made of two or more furniture pieces and typically include a couch, corner chair, loveseat or chaise lounge. There are different types and materials. 

A leather sectional has a more elegant feel while a microfiber sectional may be more rustic looking. Some sectionals have multiple configurations for extreme versatility. The main drawback? Sectional sofas are often too big for smaller spaces like apartments.

Reclining Sofas

A reclining sofa offers more comfort to make your living room extra cozy. To save space, some reclining sofas are “wall-huggers” which operate by sliding the bottom of the chair forward versus the back of the chair back so that they can be positioned a few inches from the wall in small spaces. Recliners can be manual or electric. Some even offer dual power recline where the footrest and headrest operate separately (just make sure you have a power source close by your sofa!).

Sleeper Sofas or Sofa Beds

A sleeper sofa also known as a sofa bed features a hidden mattress that pulls out once the seat cushions are removed. In other words, a sleeper sofa is a couch in the daytime, and at night, it pulls out into a bed with a fold-out mattress that is tucked away behind the cushions when it is a couch. Futons are also a popular choice for space-saving sleeper options, but they can be a little less comfortable in comparison to a sleeper sofa or day bed.

Stationary Sofas

The most popular style of sofa is a stationary sofa. From home use to the hotel and office decor, stationary sofas come in a wide variety of styles, textures, upholstery, colors, and accents making them a much more versatile choice for your home.
